How to reach Praiano, and how to return to Ravello
With your car follow the directions for Amalfi and Positano. But parking is difficult and expensive.
With the public bus, also for Praiano, you need to get first in Amalfi, where the busses for the small marine burg on the hill depart. To take advantage of the public transportation service direct yourself in Via della Repubblica, after the tunnel starting in Piazza Duomo.
Here depart the Sita busses (at the cost of 1 euro) for the 'capital' of the Coast. The suggested times are the following: 8.25, 9.30, 11.25(everyday). Once in Piazza Flavio Gioia in Amalfi, reach the Sita terminal and wait for the connections scheduled at 9.00, 12.10 (from Monday to Friday) and 10.25 (everyday).
Another option is to use the taxi service: the cost for one trip only Ravello- Praiano is approximately of 50 euros.
For the return from Praiano to Amalfi with the public service we suggest to wait for the bus near the Vettica or the Praia crossroads at 17.05 (from Monday to Friday), 16.20, and 17.35 (everyday). The fare could be of approximately of 100 euros, if you return in taxi calling a car with a driver directly from Ravello.
